KJ and Dan struggle to communicate. After a few years of a strained relationship, the couple takes a weekend trip to a friend’s cabin to rekindle their romance… only to find a dying, but not quite dead, mouse stuck in a glue trap. They disagree on how to handle it, with KJ advocating a quick death while Dan proposes making the mouse’s final moments as pleasant as possible. The couple compromises and moves on, slowly finding their way back to their idyllic surroundings. Unfortunately, their peace is interrupted by the arrival of a small woman who can charitably be described as “eccentric” — she’s their host’s younger sister and had no idea anyone was staying at the family cabin. No problem if she gets stuck, right? As the couple struggle to navigate this intruder into their already strained dynamic, KJ and Dan begin to worry that this repugnant third wheel may threaten more than just their relationship…
