I’m still on episode 4, but so far everything is fine, even quite amazing, it was everything I expected.
Overall, I recommend people give it a try and don’t let the critics sway you, and don’t let the Netflix name sway you
I know that many people will not be happy with this adaptation, but in the end it is a great, great novel, we all know that it simply cannot be filmed and as you all know, the author did not do it; he did not agree to the adaptation of the novel before and now his children have agreed to it, so in my opinion the result is that Netflix managed to adapt it quite well, maybe not perfectly, but they managed to get it very close, I think they did an extraordinary job of recreating the spirit of the novel + the cast is very good and the locations and the whole production were really satisfactory.
